There are two gorgeous works on canvas by Ayako Rokkaku in Est-Ouest’s Autumn Sale on November 27. I’ve loved her work for a few years now and I was so excited when I stumbled across her painting at SCOPE Miami in 2008. It’s really interesting to watch her work.

For those interested, Asian Art Auction Alliance has another, much larger work from Ayako in their November 26 sale (Lot 353). Also from 2007, it depicts a pair of girls not unlike those in Sisters.
